Introducing Rael Wright; Hotmilk's latest aspirational model.

Its 8am and Rael has been up since 4am to catch an early morning flight from Auckland to Tauranga, yet she looks as fresh as a daisy and ready to concur todays photoshoot. Rael Wright is the latest beauty to showcase our latest ‘Uniquely You’ collection, so we thought we’d ask her a few questions while the lovely Desiree Osterman makes the finishing touches on her beautiful hair and make-up.

Tell us a little bit about life before modelling
I grew up in Whangarei, New Zealand and attended Whangarei Girls High School. From a young age, modelling was in my blood. At 3 years of age my mum put me forward into a casting call to be a toadstool, which I was selected for and have been hooked ever since. After High School I decided to move to Auckland and put all my focus and effort in modelling, which has been incredible.

What’s some of your goals for modelling in the future?
When I was 20 I entered a model search and have been picked up by an agency in Manly, Sydney which I am super excited about. My plan is to live there and put as much of my time and effort into modelling as I can. I’m lucky enough to have friends and family there, so hopefully the move isn’t too hard.

What’s your favourite piece of clothing at the moment?
I recently went to Cochella and was lucky enough to spend a couple of weeks in LA. I absolutely love vintage op shops and LA has heaps of them! I scored a Burberry jacket and scarf for a steal which is now my favourite item of clothing!

Favourite Perfume
Lust by Lush (Fresh Handmade Cosmetics)

Favourite Pastime?
I have an amazing group of friends and family, that I love hanging out with! I’ll definitely miss them while I’m in Sydney.

Favourite make up item?
Brow Gel by Benefit

One thing you never leave the house without?
My water bottle
